Governance, by design
Identity, isolation, and keys are the load-bearing controls. We put each one where it can't be bypassed by an application bug.
The boundary between tenants lives in the database. Combined with SSO-driven identity and CMK-controlled encryption at rest, access is governed by systems your security team already trusts — not by hoping every endpoint remembers to check.
When something goes wrong, governance is about evidence and response. Every privileged action is captured with a before/after diff and hash-chained, while incidents route into the on-call tools your responders already live in.
Enterprise controls
The same product your teams already love, with the controls procurement and security require — none of it bolted on as a separate, weaker copy.
SAML 2.0 single sign-on with Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace, OneLogin, Ping, and any conformant IdP. Just-in-time provisioning, group-attribute mapping to workspace roles, signed assertions, and SP- and IdP-initiated flows. When your IdP revokes a session, active tabs disconnect.
Automated lifecycle: provision on hire, update role on team change, deprovision on termination — all driven from your IdP. SCIM groups map to Planoda teams, so removing someone from a directory group removes their access in the same propagation.
Restrict access to your corporate egress ranges, VPN, or zero-trust proxy CIDRs. Allowlists apply to web, API, and webhook delivery alike, with per-role overrides for contractors and bastion access.
Every privileged action — sign-in, role change, billing edit, export, integration install — captured with actor, IP, target, and before/after diff. Hash-chained so tampering is detectable, retained up to seven years, and streamable to your SIEM.
Bring your own KMS key. Per-tenant data keys are wrapped under your customer-managed key via envelope encryption, so rotating or revoking your key controls access to your data at rest. Encrypted in transit and at rest end to end.
Tenant isolation is enforced by Postgres row-level security, not by application code that an endpoint can forget to call. A bug in a router cannot leak another tenant's data — the boundary lives in the database.
Enterprise plans will include a contractual 99.9% monthly availability target with service credits if it's missed. The architecture is designed for multi-region Postgres replicas, edge failover, and a status page backed by independent third-party probes, and we intend to share a resiliency report with every Enterprise customer.
Critical events route into PagerDuty, Opsgenie, Rootly, and incident.io, so your responders never leave the tools they trust. A named contact and a security escalation path come with the contract.
Data residency is part of the conversation: a dedicated Neon branch and region selection let you keep data where your policy requires. Enterprise terms are bespoke — seat count, support tier, residency, custom SLA, and roadmap influence are all on the table.
